I am sitting in my hotel room in Atlanta just ready to head over to our conference. Tonight kicks off Jesus Culture Atlanta. This afternoon during the School of City-Taking, we already began to receive reports of people being healed and a new level of hunger. I can feel an anticipation stirring in me for what God is going to do this week. There is a hunger and focus for the manifest Presence of God being released in this generation. It's not "church as usual." If God doesn't show up then everything we are doing is just a waste of time. True hunger always attracts Heaven.
Whenever hundreds of people gather together with one focus, the manifest Presence of God, anything can happen. The atmosphere is charged with the reality that the King and His Kingdom is here. We were born to live in His glory. We were destined by God to live saturated in His glory. Anything short of that is missing our calling. The Bible says, "All have sinned and fallen short of the Glory." The Glory was the original target and sin took us off course, caused us to fall short of the target. But Jesus took our sin so that we no longer have to fall short but can fully embrace a life of living in the Glory. This week in Atlanta, next week in Orange County, that's what I want. For the entire conference to enter into another realm of Glory. A level of His Presence we have never encountered. I've been going over some prophetic dreams that have gripped me over the years about what God wants to do in our midst. And the ones that stand out the most to me are the ones that have to do with the Presence of God coming, both in our meetings and outside the walls of the church. I believe teenagers and young adults can have this focus. Jesus was about His Father's business at 12 years of age. There is no reason why youth and young adults cannot be consumed with the pursuit of His Presence. God moving in our midst is what I long for. If you are in the Atlanta area, Orange County, or Redding make sure you come out to a conference. If you can't make it then press in with us in prayer for the manifest Presence of God to show up. As I am writing this, thunder just went off outside my hotel room and a downpour of rain began. I'll take that as a sign that God is going to come like a downpour of rain. Come Lord!
On a side note, I am digging my MacBook Air. By far, the best computer I've ever had. Keep burning!
