I’m not sure where to even begin. I am on a plane flying to Southern California thinking about last weekend’s Jesus Culture Encounter conference. It was incredible! What an amazing two days. People drove and flew in from all over the world to be there (which is always humbling). The hunger among youth and young adults is blowing me away! To join in with thousands of young people worshiping God and seeking Him with all of their hearts is an awesome experience.
It was great to have our friend Todd Bentley with us as well. Every time he comes to Redding we have a blast. It was so encouraging to hear all God has done with him over the last year and a half and we were so impacted by his heart as he taught and ministered during the conference. Both nights of the conference healing broke out and we saw some incredible miracles. Tumors disappeared, backs were healed, asthma was healed, eyesight was healed, pain left bodies, and numerous others were touched by the power of God.
I am always so impressed by the level of hunger in the youth and young adults who come to our conferences. From the first note of worship on Friday night, everyone was engaged in radically pursuing God. There was no warming up or gaining momentum, it was full blast from the beginning. I’ve been working with young people for over a decade and I have never seen the level of hunger or anointing on these young revivalists I am encountering. It is truly an awesome sight to see so many sold-out, radical, passionate, hungry, fire-breathing, revivalists in one room.
I’m already hearing testimonies of groups so radically impacted by the God during the conference it began to show up immediately. Some of the students went back to school on Monday and stood up on a bench and began to call out words of knowledge. People began to respond and were healed. Other groups were under the power of God the entire drive home. They would spill out of the vehicles whenever they had to get gas. I love being around crazy people.
