England - Day 1

Well here it is, my first of a daily blog from England. Either myself or Becky Johnson will be updating you daily on what God is doing over here in England during our two weeks. Our team all made it over with no problems. A bit jet lagged but good. Pray for us as these trips can wear on our physical bodies and we need to be refreshed and strengthened. I brought my entire family with me along with our Jesus Culture staff and band. My kids are incredible travelers. Total troopers. Although after all these years they are getting used to it now. My son who just turned four, has already been to England twice, Australia once, and all over America.

I love that my kids get to see more of the world at a young age. I want their worldview to be expanded. Although, I am probably going to have to take them to more places then just England and Australia for that to truly happen. So we are all settled in. We actually rented two tour buses while we are here. My family and some of the girls are in one and the guys are in the other one. We are all kind of chuckling at getting driven around England on these buses. Someone walked by today and said, "Who are you guys." I think he thought we must have been some big band. Nope just some people that love Jesus trying to serve England and release healing revivalists over here. I met with some leaders tonight in Southampton. Great group of people. Really hungry for revival and want to move in greater realms of glory and power to see their city impacted by the Gospel. Tomorrow we hold our first gathering in a hall that John Wesley preached at. Come on! I can't believe I get paid to do this! I love my job. Well, I should be heading off to bed. The problem is, my head is telling me I'm tired, but my body is telling me it's 2:40 in the afternoon. We'll see how this one plays out. Thanks for checking in on us and thanks for praying. We are excited that people will come tomorrow night but what I really want is for God to come. If He shows up then it will be a phenomenal night.
