Florida, Here I Come!

On the road again. No major insight from the Lord in this blog, just a quick update. I'm in a plane headed to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to speak at a conference hosted by my good friend Darren Davis. I love going to Florida. It's crazy but every time I go to Florida I feel such a strong an anointing to release healing revivalists. Whether it is in Pensacola, Ft. Lauderdale, or Bradenton it's as if I can feel healing in the ground waiting for radical revivalists to release it. Last time I was in Ft. Lauderdale with Darren I spoke on the Lord releasing healing revivalists again and I told them the prophetic journey we had been on and the encounter I had at John Alexander Dowie's house (which you will have to get my book to read about ;-) ). The Lord spoke to us that He was releasing power again on healing revivalists to take cities. Part of the prophetic experience was this crazy wind that followed us from Chicago to Denver to Sacramento to Redding. Well I was sharing this story and the winds picked up with strong force in Ft. Lauderdale. Hurricane type winds. It was a sign to us that God was releasing healing revivalists again. Darren just called me and told me the winds are picking up again, which is unusual this time of year,  and I just know God is going to do something massive this weekend.

We just finished up our Leadership Advance at Bethel this week. What an incredible time. I love getting together with other leaders who are in pursuit of revival and whose hearts are burning in love with Jesus. These gatherings which we do twice a year are like huge family reunions. I get to see people I love from all over the world for three days. Too much fun! I spoke at one of the sessions and was blown away by the response I got from people. All day long people were coming up to me and sharing how much the message impacted them. It was both and encouraging and humbling. My Words of Affirmation Meter was definitely pegging. What an honor to be able to invest in leaders and pastors who are changing the world. I would also say that I am the most blessed man alive to be able to be a part of the team here at Bethel with Bill. I love that guy and I love our team here. I really have been so incredibly blessed to be a part of what God is doing here. I could have never known 14 years ago when I was 19 years old what God was intending to do here at Bethel. But I am sure glad He put me here to experience it.

I actually came on at Bethel as a full time intern a few months before Bill came. I told the pastors at The Advance that it was then that I began to mentor Bill. Fourteen years of pouring my life into him have really paid off. I couldn't be more proud. Most of his books have been written under my tutelage. I told them that it was a great example of how a son goes well beyond his father.
I don't think they believed a word I said, but at least I gave it a shot.
