Giving Ourselves To Prayer

I'm sitting here on a Monday morning trying to get some work done. Our upcoming Jesus Culture Encounter Conference has sold out at the Convention Center but we have added an Overflow Conference at Bethel. If you are reading this and have not registered yet you can still register and attend the Overflow Conference. The night sessions will be a live satellite feed from the Convention Center and the day sessions on Saturday will be live worship with Brian and Jenn Johnson in the afternoon and live teaching with Jesus Culture staff and Dutch Sheets. It's an exciting time we live in. I was just down in Southern California preaching at a Refuge House of Prayer Conference and two other churches. The Lord began to reveal to me that out of houses of prayer are going to come revivalists that take cities and nations.

Through ministries like The Call and IHOP, God is trumpeting the call to prayer. All over the world houses of prayer are being raised up where people are encountering God and contending in the heavens for revival. I believe out of these houses of prayer is going to come an incredible army of revivalists who will be anointed for regional revival. As they learn to not only spend time in the house of prayer but become a house of prayer the authority God has given them to take cities will become activated and they will walk in a whole new level of authority. There's a great phrase King David uses in the Psalms, he says, "I gave myself to prayer." What a great word picture. Now is the hour to "give ourselves to prayer" and out of that place of prayer we will be launched with the anointing necessary to shake regions. I would encourage you to find time to go to a house of prayer and find time to establish your own house of prayer in your private time with God. Hopefully, I will see you at Encounter.
