Good News for 2011

Happy New Years from the Jesus Culture team! Lets talk about what's happening for us in 2011 ...

It's pretty rare to have so many awesome things happen at the same time on this site. Ok, that might not be true. We are ALWAYS in the middle of awesome things. So what's going on? Well, for one, we have our Encounter conference (jesusculture.com/encounter) coming up in just two weeks! This is our biggest conference of the year and we are STOKED to have Russell Evans here with us. If you didn't know, Russell is over a huge ministry in Australia called PlanetShakers and he is easily becoming one of our favorite friends. If you can't make it to the conference, it's ok. There's no use crying over spilled milk. We are going to be streaming the conference ONLINE for all of you out there and it is going to be awesome! You can make your way over to www.iBethel.tv when the time comes and you'll be able to experience the whole thing in the comfort of your own house. We even have a little secret surprise coming up. Intrigued? Good. Moving on.

Things don't end there for us in January. Right after Encounter, the team is shipping off to a great little place called Australia! We have a 2 week stint in the outback and we'll be partnering with some great churches - holding 2 conferences and a few little 1 night events in some cities. Time for my own personal favorite announcement. If you haven't already noticed, we have officially announced our big stadium event of the year dubbed Jesus Culture Awakening. We chose the name Awakening because we wanted it to really have an entity all on its own - since it is our first move to a stadium we wanted it to show the significance behind what we believe the Lord is doing in our nation. We believe God is calling for a nationwide Awakening and this is our joy to partner with Him to see it manifest.

Words can't describe how privileged we are to have Reinhard Bonnke come and speak at our event. Reinhard is the founder of Christ For All Nations - which sees tens of thousands of people getting saved, set free, and delivered all around the world. Again, we are so blessed to have him be with us in August.

We are also up to our necks in giddiness with everyone else coming out to the event - Bill Johnson, Cindy Jacobs, Lou Engle and a lot more of our favorite people will be there to speak. We spared no expense in bringing in our fathers and mothers of this movement to the event!

Additionally, a small little band (more like enormously huge) called Hillsong United will be at the event alongside our Jesus Culture Band! Hillsong United is easily one of the most recognizable worship bands in the entire world and ever since we became good friends, we knew it would be a huge blessing to have them with us.

So there you have it, our first stadium event Jesus Culture Awakening will be full of our amazing friends and we are calling all youth and young adults to make it to the event. You don't want to miss it.
