I'm Back!!!

I’m back! This is officially me again blogging. I’m sure you greatly enjoyed David’s blogs for me - I love that guy - but here I am again! What an incredible season we are in. Everyday when you wake up you should get down on your knees and thank God for putting you on the earth in this hour. We live in the greatest hour of church history! And you are key part of what God is doing in the earth. That’s exciting!

Last month we were at The Call Las Vegas. What an encouraging day of prayer and fasting for the nation. Something like 80+ people were healed during the day. One of the most encouraging things I am encountering is the level of faith in people. They really believe a nation can turn back to God. We are in Las Vegas, one of the most well known cities in the world for sin. And yet in that environment there are believers who are standing before God praying that His Kingdom would come and His will would be done in that city. And they believe He is going to answer their prayers.

There has been a shift happening in the nation the last few years that has to do with God being in a good mood. For so long we’ve had this view of God that He is angry and disgusted with America and is just waiting for the chance to punish us. But God loves this nation and His heart is to see revival in America. As our view has begun to shift of God it has positively affected our prayer meetings. Many times our prayer meetings were trying to convince God to do something we thought He didn’t want to do. We were asking Him to show up in our nation even though we really knew He didn’t want to. So we would get together and pray and plead with God and felt like we had to twist His arm. Our pastor, Bill Johnson, yesterday in church said a great phrase in regards to this. He said, “It’s God’s idea.” In other words, we aren’t making it up ourselves. Revival in America is God’s idea. Healing is God’s idea. Salvation is God’s idea. We don’t have to convince Him to do our idea, it’s His idea and He wants to do it. I can tell when I get in little prayer meetings and prayer meetings of thousands that people are beginning to believe God wants to show up.

Quick ministry highlight recap. England was off the charts! God is putting it on our hearts to partner with our friends over there and strategize on how to mobilize young revivalists in the entire nation. I spoke at a Supernatural on Campus conference at UCLA. 400 university students from 50 universities across the nation came to UCLA for three days to be trained, equipped, and activated in the realm of the supernatural. It was so encouraging to be among that many hungry students who passionately want to demonstrate God’s power and love to the world around them.

Well, I’ll touch base again soon. I’m off to Dallas, Mammoth Lakes and then vacation with the family at Disneyland.
