Well, we are on the road again. We are headed from Atlanta to Orange County for Jesus Culture. I'm sitting here in the airport overwhelmed with the goodness of God. We've been doing Jesus Culture conferences since 1999 and each year I am blown away by what God does. Atlanta was incredible! God showed up. His Presence was so strong during worship. I had some of the most intense and sweet times in His Presence.

I am sitting in my hotel room in Atlanta just ready to head over to our conference. Tonight kicks off Jesus Culture Atlanta. This afternoon during the School of City-Taking, we already began to receive reports of people being healed and a new level of hunger. I can feel an anticipation stirring in me for what God is going to do this week. There is a hunger and focus for the manifest Presence of God being released in this generation. It's not "church as usual." If God doesn't show up then everything we are doing is just a waste of

This is my first ever iPhone blog. I decided since I blog so infrequently I would attempt to write the blog on my new snazzy iPhone. As some of you know, we are pretty obsessed here at Bethel with our Mac computers and Mac gadgets. In fact I just bought a Mac Air to travel with. Some people don't understand this passion. Pete Greig of the 24/7 Prayer Movement told me, "I just want a computer, not a lifestyle." As you can tell, some people just don't get it. Although, if I'm not mistaken, Pete just recently bought a Mac.

Well, here I am again, sitting in an airport writing my blog. I'm headed off to San Diego to connect with some dear friends of mine, Eddie and April Brown. They run the San Diego Justice House of Prayer and are putting on a conference this week. I'm not sure if I wrote about our new dog in my last blog but we got a new golden retriever puppy. Cute as can be! She's four months old now and my kids love her! So does SeaJay. It's actually been quite fun having a puppy around.

Wow! I'm not even sure where to start. How do I recap what God did less then 48 hrs. Encounter was off the charts. We had crazy, passionate, radical young revivalists gather from 24 states and 6 nations for two days to seek God and encounter His presence. Everyday I live with a sense of overwhelming gratitude that I am alive in this hour of history. This is the greatest hour of history ever and I'm alive right in the middle of it. I'm sitting here on a Monday morning trying to get some work done. Our upcoming Jesus Culture Encounter Conference has sold out at the Convention Center but we have added an Overflow Conference at Bethel. I am writing this from vacation! Yea for me! I'm down here in sunny Southern California doing the Disneyland thing. If you've never been to Disneyland with an 8 year old, 5 year old, and a 2 year old, then you are missing out. Quite the fun and exciting adventure. Although, I'm finding that as a dad of young kids, vacations are not too restful. Fun but not restful. But I'm looking forward to getting back because we have a full year ahead of us.
