Well, here I am again.... Blogging. I tell you what, blogging is harder then I thought. Perhaps for people with different personalities then myself it comes easy, but not for me. It seem so simple but my weekly blog has turned into my bi-monthly blog. Yikes! But it gives me a chance to catch you up on two months of exciting things. Too much good stuff! First, I'll blog a bit about ministry. I'm constantly overwhelmed with how good God is. When I was seventeen years old I gave myself completely to God. When I did that the Lord began to show me things I would be involved in in the years to come and put dreams in my heart that have been growing for years. I am at the beginning stages of many dreams I've had. Things the Lord has shown me for years are just now beginning to unfold.
Many of them are still in the infant stage but I can see them beginning to form. It's very exciting and scary all at the same time. More then ever before, I feel like I don't have a clue of what I'm doing. I guess that is the best place to be. I do know this, I want the Lord to build this. I just want to be a son. I just want to partner with Jesus in accomplishing what is on His heart in the earth. How amazing is that. I get to partner with God to see His desires fulfilled in the world. Can you think of a better job? We just got done with Outpouring, which is our annual Youth Pastors and Young Adult Pastors Conference. It has to be some of the most encouraging three days of the year for me. To get around a bunch of hungry, genuine, incredible pastors and leaders is such a privilege. I am one of the most blessed men on the planet because of the relationships the Lord has allowed me to have with some pretty amazing people. It's hard not to be encouraged for where the church is headed when I see the leaders the Lord is raising up. Lou Engle was with us for two days. Most of you would know who Lou Engle is and he has been a real father and friend to me personally. His sessions were off the charts. We should be posting one or two of his sessions on our media player soon. Just look for Outpouring 2008 Lou Engle session. I have known Lou for years but there is something he is carrying right now that is so anointed. Dann Farrelly came in and taught us on Brave Communication as well, which was a real highlight. I would encourage all of you to buy his Brave Communication series online at the bethel webstore. Just to catch you up with my family here is a quick overview. My kids are cuter then ever. If it's even possible, they are cuter this month then last month! My boy just turned three and my youngest girl turns six this week. My oldest is in fourth grade. Fourth grade! That's not even possible. I do not have a fourth grader. I am not anywhere near old enough for that. What happened. In two years my oldest kid will be in Jr. High. Jr High! My wife just had a birthday, I won't tell you how she is however. She may not like that. She is younger then I am though. I love that woman! She's an amazing person, you all need to personally meet her so you now what I'm talking about. We just bought a new car. Well a 2006, but new to us. Pretty sweet ride. My wife has been resisting the transition from SUV to Minivan so we settled with a pretty cool crossover vehicle which kind of combines both worlds. It's got all the details she wanted (DVD, navigation, seat warmers) and we got it for a great price. She's a styling momma now! One more thing, our dog who is 10 months old now, is still alive and well. We weren't sure if she was going to make it but it looks like she will. Which makes my wife and kids extremely happy, and me as well. Well, pray that I become a better and more frequent blogger. Until next time..... Keep burning! Keep pursuing God with all your heart! Keep dreaming! Keep loving! Keep taking risks!
