I wanted to write and encourage you to do everything you can to get to The Call Nashville. Lou Engle who is a great friend of this ministry is the leader of The Call. In 2000, The Call began in Washington DC where over 400,000 youth and adults gathered to fast and pray for our nation. It was an incredible day. Imagine people as far as you can see who are passionate lovers of Jesus who are pressing into prayer for revival. It is an amazing experience to be with so many people of like heart.
After The Call DC, the prayer gathering visited six other cities in America: Boston, New York, Kansas City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Dallas. As well, there have been Call gatherings around the world. There are moments in history where the Lord raises up men like Lou and ministries like The Call who are anointed with a call to mobilize the masses to give themselves to prayer and fasting to see a nation turn to God. Lou is a voice in our nation anointed by God to stir the hearts of believers and ignite faith to believe a nation can turn back to God.
We must seize the moment in front of us for our nation. God has a heart for America and has not turned His back on us. We must seek Him with all of our heart and cry out for revival. I urge you to do whatever you can to come to The Call Nashville. Then The Call will be visiting about eight cities for regional gatherings all pushing towards The Call DC again in 2008.
