I think I am going to have them change the title from Banning's Blog to Banning's Travel Blog, since it seems that is the only time I actually blog. I guess I have to be stuck in an airport or on a plane in order to slow down enough to blog. I'm headed to England to connect with some of our favorite people in the world. I love my life. I get to have friends all over the world whose heart is for revival. And then I get to hang out with them, minister with them, and change the world with them. Too much fun! I'm reading a book right now that all of you should go out and buy, The Dream Giver by Bruce Wilkinson. What a great book. If you don't feel like you are living your dream or are not at least headed to your dream you've got to get this book. I meet so many people who don't even know what their dream is. I can't imagine living life without being fueled by the passion of a dream I know is intertwined with God's dream for the earth. Your dreams are very important to God because your dreams are very much connected to His dreams. I also just got done reading another book about Billy Graham. It was lessons on leadership learned from the life of Billy. That guy is amazing! What a hero and general of the faith. We are so blessed to have an example like him in our world. Every time I read about his life I am so impacted and inspired. If you're not a reader become a reader! If you have a hard time reading start with biographies. Find people in history that intrigue you and read about them. John Adams, Abraham Lincoln, John G. Lake, Kathryn Kuhlman, Martin Luther King Jr or the thousands of other great men and women who have gone before us. There are so many lessons and insights to be learned from just reading about their lives. And not only will you get to learn about them but you will learn about history as you read about the world they led in and impacted. I've learned about the Civil Rights Movement by reading about Martin Luther King Jr. I've learned about the Civil War by reading about Abraham Lincoln. The founding of our country through the lives of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and John Adams. World War II through the life of Winston Churchill. And not only world history but church history. As I dove into the lives of men and women of God I greatly admire I learned about moves of God, Church history, and theology. I love to read and would encourage you to read as well. Start somewhere. Hopefully by now you have gotten our latest album Your Love Never Fails. Kim Walker, Chris Quilala, and Melissa How all do an amazing job. It is so exciting to see what God is doing through them and the impact it is having on the Body of Christ world-wide. Our newest album for Jesus Culture Music will be coming out by the end of the year. Kristene Mueller is our latest artist recording an album with us. Some of you may have seen Kristene at our last Jesus Culture Conference in Redding. This girl will blow you away! She is a singer/songwriter who is one of the most anointed and pure worship leaders I have ever heard. Her songs have been birthed out of years of intercession and I know are going to launched around the world. Check back for more details on when her album will be released. Pray for us while we are in England. We feel the Lord is giving us, along with those we are running with in the UK, and open door to impact the entire nation.
