Hey Everyone, this is David D'Louhy filling in for Banning. He is driving us back to Redding right now from the special event with Cindy Jacobs at UC Berkeley. Thanks to everyone who came out. People actually had to be turned away because Wheeler Hall reached its capacity of 700. For those who couldn't make it, look for the full sermon up in the media player very soon.
We live in such an exciting time. We are so privaledged to get to be apart of what God is doing in the earth today. During worship I was overwhelmed with the sense of being apart of something that is changing the course of world history. The significance of what happened during worship will mark the campus for years to come. I believe that if we could have seen what was happening in the spirit realm we would have seen the army of our Lord forcefully attacking the strongholds over the campus - it was powerful! Also powerful was the presence of God. From before we started until after we ended I could strongly feel God's tangible presence. He is truly on the throne over UC Berkeley!
I had a very similar feeling at this meeting as I did at The Call Nashville - I am at an event that will shape history. What would it look like if every student, professor, and staff person at UC Berkeley got radically born again and baptized in the Holy Spirit? What would it look like for a campus that transformed the city around it for the worse to be washed clean and then transform the entire region with the love of God? Get ready, it's about to happen!
