I just returned from some incredible trips. I was in Nashville, Washington DC, and Santa Maria, CA. It’s amazing what the Lord is doing in our nation right now. The Lord has His eye on Nashville and is turning the attention of the Church in our nation to that city. There is great momentum for The Call Nashville which is coming up July 7.
If you don’t know about The Call you should visit there website at www.thecall.com or go to www.ibethel.org and click on The Call banner to get more info and hear a word from Dutch Sheets about that day. I was encouraged by the hunger I encountered in Nashville for a genuine move of God. People are wanting the real thing. They are no longer satisfied by a powerless Gospel but are only satisfied with a Gospel of power that brings people into an encounter with a God who is passionately in love with them.
Then I was off to Washington DC to have a meeting to brainstorm on how to mobilize the youth of America to pray and fast for the nation. While I was there we got word of the Supreme Court’s decision to uphold the ban on partial birth abortion. This is good news and a step in the right decision. What Lou Engle and the Justice House of Prayer is doing in DC is truly historic and we our nation owes the small band of praying warriors a lot. They have been pressing in for breakthrough in our nation’s capital and beginning to see the floodgates of Heaven opening up.
After that, I headed off to Santa Maria where I spoke at a youth conference and a church. It was a blast. The conference blew up! By the last night youth and young adults were laid out all over the place encountering God. It’s a new day. Young people are hungry for God and are relentlessly pursuing Him. And God is answering their prayers by showing up. I just sat back and saw God drafting young people into His army of revivalists. Nations will be impacted because of those meetings. I always love to see when a youth or young adult experiences God in such a way they lay their life down for Him and never look back.
