Whirlwind Summer! Well, I’m off to Nashville. The anticipation in my heart for what God is going to do at The Call Nashville is almost too much to handle. This summer has been a whirlwind of activity and all of it has been incredible! Everywhere we go, God keeps showing with His extravagant Presence. He’s possessing people.
We were just in Orange County, California (Los Angeles area for all of the non Californians) for our annual Jesus Culture Orange County conference. Nolan Clark and Shawn Bolz were with us this year and did an amazing job. The services just kept blowing up. Bodies everywhere. People trying to share testimonies of what God had done earlier in the day when they were ministering in the city and they couldn’t even stand up. They would begin to share and the power of God would hit them and they would fall to the ground. They were scattered all over the stage and all over the sanctuary. It was a beautiful sight to see. People got healed, lots of salvations, freedom, love, all of the good stuff that comes when God shows up. There are some radical Christians down in Southern California. The hunger for God was astounding and the passion for His presence was so encouraging to see. I kept having to shut down the meetings at the end and tell them to go home. Four hour meetings and they didn’t want to stop. These are young people, who would have worshiped for hours longer.
One of the most encouraging things that happened while we were down there was the salvations in the city. Every night after City Invasion, we heard multiple stories of people getting saved. In the store, on the street, on the soccer field. It felt like the Lord was trying to show us what His Word already says, “The harvest is ripe.” As we begin to take the love and power of God out to people who have never encountered that before, they are responding by giving their lives to Jesus who loves them so much. Let’s continue to press in for a great harvest of souls in America (or whatever nation you are reading this in). The prophetic word that was released concerning this current revival is that 1 Billion people would be saved. Then they began to prophesy that the harvesters need to be saved first which will be 500,000 first. Let’s believe God to do something incredible in your city where thousands are swept into the Kingdom of Heaven because of a face to face encounter with God who is passionately in love with them. In our own city we are praying for 120,000 salvations. An entire city completely His. It’s all possible. The Bible says, “All things are possible to Him who believes.” Let’s believe together for the greatest harvest ever in your city.
Well, my plane is about to land so I’ve got to go. I’ll let you know how The Call went. Jesus Culture Redding is coming up and we are going to have a blast. Hope to see you there.
