A Student Testimony

"Thursday night, first CA meeting at the Cluney's place. I had a scrimmage football game to attend to and wanted to leave an hour into our CA meeting to make it in time for the game. I felt the need to stay and decided to stay at CA until it was over. Sure enough, Matt had a prophetic word of healing for someone's feet and I knew that was me. I have been involved in an athletic lifestyle from an early age and have went through multiple injuries, all of which I have recovered from completely except for the recurring twisting and instability of my ankles.

I have broken small bones in each, sprained my anterior tailo fibula ligament, and severely sprained and twisted both ankles during football season and basketball season's let alone just walking casual on a given normal day. This has been a discomfort for over 10 years now. During my NCAA physical examination for Cal football two years ago now, the trainer told me straight that my ankles were weak and that they were very loose, just from feeling out my feet during the exam. I tend to sprain my ankles bi-monthly, and that's when I'm not athletically active and using caution when I walk. It is almost ridiculous how careful I am when I walk as just stepping on a small pebble or tiny crack in the street can be enough to have my ankle roll out and cause bruising and swelling that'll last for a few days. I've been praying for the strengthening and healing of my ankles for a long time now and I believe that night was the final nail in the coffin. A few days later I felt some pulsing over my left ankle (the weaker of the two) and felt the healing touch. As an athlete, I'm very keen to my body and it's different aspects, and let me say confidently that after almost two weeks, my ankles are strong and I have not twisted since. Jesus is to blame, glory to his Name."
