I've struggled with asthma for about 6 years. I accepted it for the first few years until it began to get worse. It got to the point of losing the use of 85 percent of my left lung. It was at this point I began to stretch my faith and trust our God to heal me as he so willingly desires to.
About a year and a half ago I stopped carrying my inhalers as an act of faith that my God can get me through anything. Being a very active and physical person, participating in every sport I can get my hands on at any given time, this was a rather drastic measure, but i knew that we serve a Big God.
It was at a JC conference in January in Melbourne Australia that I made a choice to lay down my passion for sports and pursue the life God has for me wholeheartedly. I walked into that auditorium believing to be touched by God. Hearing Banning talk about previous times of healing overseas my faith was stirred to receive what I had wanted for so many years. Banning gave the call for asthma, and I took off running, to get back to the auditorium being able to breathe easily through my left lung. It has now gone from a 85% deficient lung to 93% operational. Praise the Lord for his faithfulness and Mercy.
